kuǹǹi T. M. (S. ഗുഞ്ജ) 1. Abrus precatorius; the speckled seed കുന്നിക്കുരു is used as weight കുന്നിത്തൂക്കം, — പ്രമാണം, — യിട, = 15/16 grains or = 4 നെല്ലു, ½ മഞ്ചാടി. കുന്നി ക്കുരു കുപ്പയില്‍ ഇട്ടാലും മിന്നും prov. കുന്നിയാ ലേപ്പട്ടു TP. of Abrus pattern, കുന്നിയോളം സ്ഥാനം കിട്ടാ (opp. കുന്നോളം പൊന്നു). čiraṭṭa P. M. (& ച V1., C. കരട) Cocoanut-shell, chiefly the lower half ആണ്മുറി, മൂക്കിന്മുറി; used for firing ചിരട്ടത്തീയിട്ടു a med. (ചി'ത്തീക്കൊത്ത ചൂടു intense heat; — കാണി ക്ക met. to energize). ചിരട്ടക്കരി B.; for begging അവന്‍ ൨ കൈയിലും നാലു ചി. പിടിച്ചു പോകും (curse); for drinking ചിരട്ടക്കള്ളെണ്ണി ക്കയറും TP. — മുട്ടിന്‍ ചിരട്ട the knee-pan. nā/?/iγa Tdbh.; നാഡിക 1. An Indian hour of 24 minutes.
