(for building). 3. clog, കട്ടച്ചെരിപ്പു Palg. = മെതിയടി. Hence: കട്ടക്കാര a thorny plant. കട്ടക്കാണം 1. the right of breaking the ground = തൂശിക്കാണം, കൊഴു അവകാശം. 2. a tenure of ricefields unfavorable to the cultivator, hence called കഷ്ടക്കാണം. കട്ടക്കിടാവു newborn infant തന്‍ ക. മായി തുഷ്ട യായ്നിന്നാള്‍ CG. അരയന്നക്ക. പോലെ RS. The rent or tribute due to the Janmi on the tenure of കുടുമനീര്‍, gen. called ദേശപോകടം (ജന്മ ഭോഗം ദേശപോകടം തുടങ്ങിയുളളവ VyM.) f. i. പത്തു തേങ്ങയും ഒരു ചക്കയും കുലയടക്കയും ദേശപോടകനു (പോഷകന്‍?) തട്ടും തയിരും ഇങ്ങനേ ദേശപോകടങ്ങള്‍ എന്നറിക KU.; നി ലം വാങ്ങി ൩ കൊല്ലമായി സ്വന്തമായി നടന്നു പോകടങ്ങള്‍ കൊടുത്തുവരിക, നികിതി പോ' ങ്ങളും കഴിപ്പാന്‍ MR.
