nā/?/i S. (നഡ = നളം tube) 1. Any tubular organ, vein, artery നാ. കള്‍ എഴുപ ത്തീരായിരം ഉണ്ടു ദേഹേ Bhr. (72000). 7 are chiefest ഏഴു നാ. മൂലാധാരത്തില്‍നിന്നു മേല്പെ ട്ടു പോകുന്നു (= സപ്തധാതു). ബ്രഹ്മ —, സുഷുമ്ന നാ. paṭṭiṇi (T. — നി) Privation of food (പട്ടിണിപ്പാടു). പ. കിടക്ക to starve, go to sleep without a meal. ചൊക്കനെ പ. കിടത്ത രുതു TP. the dog must not be starved. ഒരു പ. കഴിക്ക to fast one day. മൂന്നേത്തേപ്പ. കിടന്നു TP. 3 days. പ. കരകയും SiPu. a starving child. പ. ഇടുക, വെക്ക to abstain from food as one day after a death; to dun by abstaining. ഞ ങ്ങളെ അറയിലാക്കി ൨ ദിവസം പ. യിട്ടു തച്ചു ഹേമിച്ചു TR. left without food. നീ പട്ടിണിയി ട്ടു കൊല്ലിച്ചീലയോ Mud.; പ. കൊണ്ടു പടക്കൂട്ട ങ്ങള്‍ തളരും VCh.; ഒട്ടകം കൊണ്ടു പ. തീര്‍ക്ക PT. to breakfast on the camel. പ. കളവാന്‍ VCh. പട്ടിണിനന്പി a Brahman who duns by sitting on his umbrella before a debtor's house, starving himself & those within. Evil ദശരഥന്‍ മഹാപാ. നിനെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നേരം KR. brooding over bis misery. പാ. വാ ശുഭം വാ Bhg. 2. sin, esp. of a former birth, as causing all mischief. ഏററം പുളെ ച്ചുളള പാ'ങ്ങള്‍ തോറേറാടിനാര്‍ CG. (personified). കഷ്ടപാപങ്ങളില്‍ പെട്ടുപോം Si Pu. മഹാപാ. അറുക്കുന്ന പോററി Anj.; പാ. അകററുക, തീര്‍ക്ക, ഒഴിക്ക, പോക്കുക etc.; പാദം വണങ്ങുമവര്‍ പാ. കളെന്തു പരമാനന്ദമൂര്‍ത്തി നമഃ RC. 3. a poor fellow. ഈ പാപത്തി ന്നോ to this innocent sufferer. പാ'മായുളെളാരു പാഴ്വനം CG. the poor forest, threatened by fire. 4. interj. അയ്യോ പാ. alas! what a pity! ഹാ ഹേയം അഹോ പാ. Bhr. (= കഷ്ടം). കാരണം കൂടാതേ പാ'മേ ഖണ്ഡിച്ചു VetC. without provocation. പാപന്‍ S. a bad man, rogue ബുദ്ധിഭ്രമം വരു ത്തുന്നൊരു പാ.
