čēδam Tdbh., ഛേദം. čēl, VN. of ചെല്ലു (Te. C. Tu. ചാല്‍), also = ചെയല്‍ T. aM. 1. čēr̀umaṇṇalam generally ചേ ര്‍മ്മ. (as തപ്പും ചേര്‍മ്മ'വും കൂടി KU.) Round metal-plate used as gong (So. ചേങ്ങില, T. ചേമക്കലം, C. Tu. ജാംഗട, prob. fr. കലം & ചേരമാന്‍ ?) also ചേര്‍ങ്ങലം q. v.
