N. pr. fem. തായ്ക്കിഴവി (loc.) a bawd, കൂട്ടിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നവള്‍. തായ്ക്കോട്ട the inside of a fort, king's residence. തായ്പരദേവത (1) f. i. കോലസ്വരൂപത്തിന്‍റെ താ. the patroness of Cōlattiri. തായ്പുര an inner room. തായ്മരം the trunk of a tree before dividing in branches, (= തമ്മരം).

tūriyāḍuγa (S. ധൂര്‍ = തുരം). To labour hard, VN. തൂരിയാട്ടം B. — (or T. തൂരി a large net? fr. foll.)

tōtram S. (തുദ് to sting). A goad, also: തോദനം = തോട്ടി. — തോദം = കുത്തു.

tūδavaḷam (T. തൂതുള, So. തൂതുവേള B.) B.). Solanum trilobatum. കണവീരതൂതവളം Capparis aphylla, (S. കരീരം).

toḷḷu (cavity?) A maund of rice, gram, etc. = മൂട (loc.)

tāvaḍi (T. invasion, foray താവുക). A feast of Bhagavati (1-10 Mēḍam), during which disorders are winked at by the native authorities.

teḷi (√ തെള്‍ T. M. C., തെല്‍ Te. Tu.). 1. Clearness. ഇവ തെളിവെച്ചു കുടിക്ക a. med. allow to settle or filter, തെളിപാല്‍ RC. 2. brightness. ചാലത്തെളിക്കടഞ്ഞ ചക്രങ്ങള്‍ Mud. polished. തെളിശസ്ത്രം കൊണ്ടരിഞ്ഞു KR. 3. M. Tu. canji-water പൊണലിയും തെളിയും കുടിക്കാന്‍ വാ Cal.; perhaps, also transparent honey in തെളിമൊഴിമാതര്‍, തെളിമേന്‍ചൊല്‍, വചന കോമള നറുന്തെളിനുകര്‍ന്തു ചെവിയാല്‍ RC. 4. tuḍam (തുടു) 1. Stoutness, plumpness തുടം എഴുന്ന പള്ളിയന്പു, തു. കിളര്‍ന്ന മാമരം RC; also തുടവു, hence തുടവിയ ശരം RC. — തുടവന്‍ a stout, big person. 2. a liquid measure, 1/16 of an Iḍanga/?/i, (see foll.).

tur̀a T. M. C. (തുറു) 1. A frequented place, rendezvous; a harbour, തുറയും കച്ചോടവും തെ ളിയിപ്പിച്ചു KU. also a landing-place, and office of customs, തുറയില്‍തളം MC. 2. place for washing clothes, പുല്‍ത്തുറ V2. a grassy spot (തുറു). 3.
