tanu S. (തന്‍) 1. tōyuγa T. M. (T. തുവ, whence തു വെക്ക; C. Tu. തൊയി & തോ moist) To dip, soak, unite. മഞ്ഞള്‍നിറം തോഞ്ഞ കൂറ, ശോ ണിതം തോഞ്ഞ ബാണങ്ങള്‍, ഗണ്ഡത്തില്‍ തോ യുന്ന വന്മദതോയം. met. ശീതം തോഞ്ഞീടുന്നാ തങ്കം CG. സമ്മതം തോയുന്ന നന്മൊഴി Anj. (= ഉള്ള). തോയ്ക്ക T. M. So. (T. തോയ്ക്ക to dip in, bring together, etc) 1. to temper iron = ഊട്ടുക. 2.
