tṛš S. Thirst, & തൃട്ട്, also തൃള്‍ ഛര്‍ദ്ദി യും വരും Nid. — ക്ഷുത്തൃഡാദികള്‍ VCh. തൃഷാശൂല, (തിറുണശൂല) a disease, a med., (ദാ ഹിക്കും, പനിക്കും etc.) തൃഷ്ണ thirst; also as disease തൃഷ്ണാനിദാനം Nid.; strong desire, വിഷയങ്ങളിലുള്ള തൃ. Bhg.; പലതരം തൃ. കളായിട്ടുള്ള ചുഴിപ്പു VCh.

tēṭṭuγa No., (= തികട്ടുക, T. തെകട്ടുക). 1. To belch പുളിച്ചു തേ. = ആമ്ലകം, പുകഞ്ഞു തേ. = ധൂമകം Asht. 2. to ruminate തേട്ടി അയ വര്‍ക്കുക, പശു തേട്ടി അരെക്കുക MC (= തേക്കി അരെക്ക). കുട്ടിവായില്‍ തേട്ടിക്കൊടുക്ക MC. തേന aM. Tdbh., സേന, (തേനയോടു RC.)

tēḷ T. M. (Te. തെലു, C. Tu. ചേള്‍, fr. ചെ ള്ളു) A. scorpion. Kinds: കരിം —, മണിത്തേള്‍, വെന്തേള്‍; വാഴത്തേള്‍ or വെററിലത്തേള്‍ a venomous insect.
