tuǹbụ (തുനി C Te., തുന്പു C. footstalk, തുബബു to be found out) 1. CC. get a clue. ഇതി ന്‍റെ തു. അറിവാന്‍ TR. to ferret it out. qs. തു. അറിയാതേ പറഞ്ഞു spoke not to the purpose, got adrift. വീടു ചുട്ട ആള്‍ വഴിപോലേ തുന്പാ യിട്ടില്ല TR. could not be found out. ഇല്ലാത്ത തു. കള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കി by false evidences. അതി ന്‍റെ നേരും വഴിയും തുന്പും വിസ്മരിക്കാതേ TR.; കട്ട മുതല്‍ അവന്‍റെ കൈവശമുള്ളപ്രകാരം തു ന്പു കിട്ടി Arb. articles were traced to him. അ തിന്‍റെ ആളെ തുന്പുനോക്കി TR. tried to find out the guilty person. തുന്പുണ്ടാക്കി proved. 3. right, claim, duty. വകമേല്‍ ചെല്ലുവാന്‍ തു ന്പില്ല TR. has no right to the estate. അന്‍പ ററാല്‍ തുന്‍പററു prov.; അവനോടു തു. അറുത്ത് എടുത്ത (or വാങ്ങിയ) പ്രമാണം TR. (see തുന്പു മുറി). തുന്പുകെട്ടു നടന്നു led an unprincipled life. Hence: തുന്പറുക്ക to break off a connexion. തുന്പില്ലാതേ പറക to speak, what is groundless, useless, driftless; to babble. തുന്പില്ലാത്തവന്‍ (2) an ignorant; a booby. തുന്പുമുറി (3) a certificate given by a proprietor to the holder of his land, that he has sold his right to another; also a writ of the tenant transferring his occupancy to another, W. രാമനു സമ്മതിച്ചു കൊടുത്തതു. (തന്‍) = തനതു His own; also തന്‍റു, in തന്‍റടക്കം decency. തന്‍റേടം (ഇടം) 1. self-competency & self-consequence. ത. കാട്ടുക, നടിക്ക, പറക to be of very independent manner. 2. common sense. ത. മറന്നു MC. from passion. ബുദ്ധിക്കു ത. വെക്കാത്തവള്‍ MR. still very young & easily influenced (not of age). തന്‍റേടക്കാരന്‍ person of independent mind; proud.

tulyam S. (തുലാ) 1. Equipoised, തൂക്കങ്ങ ളെ തു'മാക്കുക TR. 2. equal, like, ഇല്ല നിന്നോടു തു. ഒരുവരും SG.; ഞാന്‍ താന്‍ തുല്യബലവേ ഗന്‍ KR. രണ്ടിലും തുല്യമായ അക്ഷരം കണ്ടു Mud. — adv. ആത്മതു. പാലിക്കാം പ്രജകളെ Bhr. 3. signature = ഒപ്പു; in Trav. തു. ചാര്‍ത്തുക the king to sign = തൃക്കൈവിളയാടുക. തുല്യത equality, തിണ്‍തുടകള്‍ക്കു തു. ഏതുമേ ചൊ ല്ലവല്ലേന്‍; തു. ഇല്ലാത തു. ചൊല്ലുന്പോള്‍ വ ല്ലായ്മ എന്നതും വന്നു കൂടും CG. impossible to compare, what is incomparable.

trāṇam S. (ത്രാ = തര്‍ to bring through, save) 1. Preservation നിന്നുടെ പ്രാണത്രാണം ദു൪ല്ലഭം KR. അസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍കൊണ്ടു പഞ്ജരം നി൪മ്മി ച്ചാന്‍ത്രാണത്തിന്നായി CG. for defence, ത്രാണ കാരണന്‍, ത്രാണനിപുണന്‍ Bhg. Višṇu expert in saving, പിന്ത്രാണം rearguard, convoy V2. 2. power, in കള്ളന്ത്രാണം, — ത്ത്രാ — etc. ത്രാണനം ചെയ്ക to protect V1. ത്രാണി T.
