tuḷasi S. (√ prec?) Holy basil, Ocymum sanctum GP 62. തുളസിച്ചോറു a. med. It serves, with Darbha-grass, for the funeral ceremonies of Brahmans. തു. മുതലായ അച്ചനാ പുഷ്പങ്ങള്‍ TR. — തുളസീദളവര്‍ഷവും കാണായി KumK. (from heaven). Kinds: കാട്ടുതു. Ocyraum adscendens, കര്‍പ്പൂര —, കൃഷ്ണ —, വെണ്‍ —, രാമ —, പെരുന്തു. Oc. polystachium, ശിവതു. Oc. tenuiflorum. തുളസീഭൂപന്‍ KM. the Tuḷu Rāja, (see തുളു). തുളസ്സല്‍ No. a kind of rice (middling).

tuḷaṇṇuγa T.aM.C. — v.n. Tremulous motion = തുളുന്പുക; esp. glittering (= തെ ള —), തുളങ്ങിവിളങ്ങുന്ന കണ്കളോടും RC.
