tēḷ T. M. (Te. തെലു, C. Tu. ചേള്‍, fr. ചെ ള്ളു) A. scorpion. Kinds: കരിം —, മണിത്തേള്‍, വെന്തേള്‍; വാഴത്തേള്‍ or വെററിലത്തേള്‍ a venomous insect. tēkkuγa (C. Tu. തേഗു to belch, Te. തേഞ്ചു, T. to cram). To belch തേക്കി ഇടുക, തളികയില്‍ ഉണ്ടാലും തേക്കും, ഇരിന്പുകുടി ച്ച വെള്ളം തേക്കുമോ prov. തേക്കി അരെക്കുക to ruminate (& തേട്ടി അ.) — ചക്കിന്‍റെ കണ തേക്കിപ്പോയി has flown out. No. തേങ്ങുക So. (T. to be full). To beat as waves on the shore, to feel nausea, to sob. തേ ങ്ങിത്തേങ്ങിക്കരക So.; to totter, reel V1.; to work out as a nail. B. VN. tuḷa T. M. C. (Te. തൊലി, Tu. തൊളു) A hole, bored hole. നന്നേ തുള ഉണ്ടാം a. med. (through cancer). തുളക്കാതന്‍, f. — തി a person with widely bored ears. തുളമാനം the size of a hole. തുളയന്‍ B. a fool. തുളവാരം the holes & faults of a thing or person, തുളാരം പറഞ്ഞു vu. v. n. തുളയുക To be perforated, തുളഞ്ഞു പു റപ്പെടും Bhg. — അര്‍ബ്ബുദം കവിളുടെ നടുവേ തു ളഞ്ഞു തുളഞ്ഞുണ്ടാം a. med. v. a. തുളെക്ക to perforate, pierce, bore മൂക്കു തുളെച്ച കാള an ox with a pierced nose. മൂക്കു തുളെക്കും VyM. pokes his nose, (sign of perplexity).
