tōǹǹuγa (T. — ന്‍റു, C. Te. — റു, — ചു, Tu. — ജൂ) 1. To spring up മനസ്സില്‍ കൃപ തോന്നി, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നമ്മോട് ഒരു കൃപ തോ ന്നാതേ TR. കഥ മനസ്സില്‍ തോ. to occur, strike, സദാ മാനസേ നിന്‍രൂപം തോന്നേണം AR. അനിഷ്ടം, ഭയം തോ. etc. — to turn out well. അസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ തോന്നാതേ പോക Bhr. may they never hit! ദിവ്യാസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും വഴിയേ തോ ന്നീല്ല Bhr. would not answer. 2. to appear to the sight. അടുത്തുള്ളതു ദൂരേയും ദൂരയുള്ളതടു ക്കേയും തോന്നും Nid. — to seem ചിന്തിക്കില്‍ കല്ലെന്നു തോന്നും CG. might be taken for a stone. So in comparison often സത്യം എന്നി ങ്ങനേ തോന്നുംവണ്ണം CG. so as to make one think, it true. 3. to come into the mind മറ ന്നിതോ തോന്നുന്നിതോ ഹൃദി KR.; സംഗമം തോ ന്നീല്ല ഏതും Bhr. could not remember, ഒന്നും തോന്നാതേ നടന്നു ദേശാന്തരം VetC. without a thought. tēǰassụ S. (തിജ്) 1. tiδikša S. (desid. of തിജ്, to steel oneself). Patience, തി. യും വാക്ഛാന്തിയും (sic, al. — ക്ശ —) Bhr.; അപമാനാദിസഹിക്കുന്നതു തി. KeiN.; തി. ആകുന്നതു ദു:ഖത്തെ സഹിക്ക Bhg. തിതിക്ഷു = ക്ഷമാശീലന്‍. Bhg.

tṛδīyam S. (ത്രി ) Third. തൃതീയ (gramm.) The dative case; (astr.) the third day of the lunar fortnight. tattiγa No. (fr. സത്യക, Tdbh. സ ത്തിക, permanent?) in: തത്തികക്കുട A dedicated umbrella with Cocoanut-leaf-fringes depending from the brim, used in festival processions. — ത'ക്കാരന്‍ the leader of a party, who take ഇള ന്നീര്‍ to a temple; leader of a കരക്കെട്ടി Māpl. marriage-procession (loc.) (തല്‍): തല്പരന്‍ S. Occupied with that. സത്യ തല്പരത്വം Bhr. devotedness to truth. പുഷ്കര ശരക്രീഡാതല്‍പരത്വേന Bhr. through lecherousness.
