taḷir T. M. Te. aC. (S. തളുനം = തരുണം?). A bud, new leaf, shoot ഇളതായീടും ത. Bhr.; പുത്തന്‍ ത'രായ്മെത്തുന്ന ചോരിവാ CG. — അക തളിര്‍, കാല്‍ത്തളിര്‍ etc. met. for what is tender, attractive. തളിര്‍ക്കുല B. a compound pedicle. v. n. തളിര്‍ക്ക To bud, sprout, get fresh leaves നന്നായി മുളെച്ചു തളിര്‍ത്തിതു പേരാല്‍ Bhr. tiraṭṭu T. M. (തിരള്‍) 1. Assemblage; abstract of accounts. മുളകു ചാര്‍ത്തി വന്ന ഒട്ടു ക്കുള്ള തി. TR. the sum total, also തിരട്ടു ക ണക്കു adding up a sum. കുറുന്തിരട്ടു a short abstract. 2. തിരട്ടുകഞ്ഞി, തി'കുളി etc., what refers to the first menstruation; (തിരട്ടുകല്യാ ണം = വയസ്സറിയിക്കും കല്യാണം). തിരട്ടുക 1. So. to ball up, (= തിരയു 1.). 2. തി രട്ടിവെക്ക to perform a ceremony for a girl of 5-6 years, in preparation of marriage (putting her aside, as if for the first menstruation).

tuḷi T. M. (തുളു Tu. C. to tremble) A drop, also തുള്ളി q. v., ചോരത്തുളി Bhg. — (No. toddy drawers say of a cut cocoanut-spadix: തു. എ ടുക്ക toddy begins to flow, തു. തെളിഞ്ഞു flows freely, തു. ആറി has dried up). തുളിക്ക 1. to drop, as medicines ചെവിയില്‍ Tantr. എണ്ണ വെന്തു പുണ്ണില്‍ തു. tṛpaḍi (തൃ) The entrance of a temple, തൃ. മേല്‍ കയറി TP. (തൃ): തൃപ്പാപ്പുസ്വരൂപം & തൃപ്പാസ്വരൂപം KU. the dynasty of Travanoore or Vēnāḍu. തൃപ്പൂണത്തറ, — ണിത്തുറ, തൃപ്പുനത്തൂറ, (S. ത്രി പൂര്‍ണ്ണപുരം) N. pr., residence of the Coohi Rāja — തൃ. യപ്പന്‍ its God. തൃശ്ശിവപേരൂര്‍ N. pr., Trichoor.

To be benumbed. തരിച്ചിതു കൈത്തലം Bhr. from a stroke. വാതം മികെച്ചു തലനോകില്‍ നാവു തരിക്കും a. med.; പല്ലു പാരം തരിച്ചു Nid.; അ ക്ഷികള്‍ പൊട്ടിത്തരിച്ച അന്ധന്മാരായി Bhr. 2. to be astounded, horripilation ശരീരം തരി ക്കും V1.; കാല്‍ ത. Nid. = പാദഹര്‍ഷം; അതില്‍ തരിച്ചു പോയി quite taken up with it. CV. തരിപ്പിക്ക to benumb. VN. തരിപ്പു numbness, deadness. കപിവീര നുടെ കൈത്തരിപ്പു കളവാന്‍ RS. to bend his pride.
