tukkuγa (T.to eat) = ഇരന്നു ന ടക്ക. A beggar is called തുക്കി or തുക്കിപ്പെറു ക്കി (loc.); പെറുക്കിത്തുക്കിനായി (No., abuse).

ta/?/uδu (തഴു = തറു, also C. Tu. തളു to detain) A bolt. തഴുതൂരി MM. withdrew the bolt; chiefly the wooden doorbolt pushed from above (തഴുതും അരമയും); ഇരട്ടത്തഴുതു No. = ചീര്‍പ്പു. — also: തഴു or തഴുവു f. i. തഴുവററം വന്നു പോയി (some തഴുവേററം) the family is extinct = കററി ഇററു. — തഴുതണം herpetic eruptions, ring-worm (S. ദദ്രു, C. Nid. = പാദഹര്‍ഷം; അതില്‍ തരിച്ചു പോയി quite taken up with it. CV. തരിപ്പിക്ക to benumb. VN. തരിപ്പു numbness, deadness. കപിവീര നുടെ കൈത്തരിപ്പു കളവാന്‍ RS. to bend his pride.
