tōlam S. (തുല) A Tola, the weight of a Rupee. തോലവും much = തുലോം. തോലന്‍ N. pr. a minister of the last Perumāḷ, KU., KM.; comm. N. pr. of men. തോലി, തോലിയം see തോല്വി.

tōmaram S. A javelin, ചന്തമിയലുന്ന തോമരജാലം Mud. iron crows. തോ. ഏററു െപ ളിഞ്ഞു CG. തോമരപ്രാസം Bhr.

tēmānam M. C. Tu. (T. തേയ്മ —, fr. തേയുക) Waste from rubbing; loss in assaying metals ഗുളികത്തേമാനം TR. (of coiners); waste of goldsmith = രായിട്ടു പോകുന്നതു; wear & tear. — തേമാനപ്പെടുക to wear out by long use f. i. മോതിരം = തഴയുക; തേ'ട്ട മാര്‍ഗ്ഗം a dying-out-religion.

tamaγaǹ S. (തമ്) Choking; one of the 5 last breaths പ്രാണന്‍ തളര്‍ന്നു തമകാദിക ളായി ചമഞ്ഞാല്‍ Anj.

taṭṭam 1. T. So. A flat plate. 2. (loc.) a pony, see II. തട്ടു. 3. (C. Te. ദട്ടി) long cloth tied round the waist, see തടുപ്പു) cloth as used for veils etc. സുല്‍ത്താന്‍റെ ത. Ti. Tippu's garment. അരെക്ക ഒരു ത. കെട്ടി jud. — ചന്ദ്ര ക്കലത്തട്ടം the nimbus-like arch under which the idol is suspended when carried about.

(also തോള്‍പൂട്ടു). തോള്‍പ്പലക the shoulder-blade തോ. മേല്‍ MM. തോള്‍മാല (— ണ്മ —) an ornamental chain worn around the neck & reaching to the breast. തോള്‍മാററം removing a burden from one shoulder to the other. തോള്‍വള a braoelet for the upper arm.
