tōranam S. (തോര്‍) 1. A triumphal or ornamental arch, gate-way കാഞ്ചനതോ. എടുപ്പിച്ചു, നിവിര്‍ത്തി etc.; തോരണദ്വാരം Nal.; അണിത്തോ. SiPu. entranoe of the stage. 2. ornamental lines, strings of leaves & flowers hung across the streets or over the door-way. തോ. കെട്ടുക. 3. a post with an inscription or device V1., (as അതിര്‍തോ. V2.), തോ. കുത്തു ക, നാട്ടുക. 4. as much space as can be reached with the eyes V1.

taṇḍār (തണ്‍, താര്‍) Lotus. തണ്ടാര്‍ മ ധുമണം Nal. smell of Lotus-honey. ത. മാതു or ത. മാനിനി Laxmi. തണ്ടാരില്‍മാതിന്‍ കണ വന്‍ CC.Višṇu. തണ്ടാര്‍ശരാന്തകന്‍ CC. Siva (as കാമാരി). തണ്ടാര്‍മിഴി SiPu. Lotus-eyed.

tṛkka = തിരക്ക. To press, ചങ്ങാതിമാര്‍ എ ല്ലാം തൃക്കത്തുടങ്ങിനാര്‍ CG. (തൃ): തൃക്കടമതിലകം N.pr. a temple near Koḍungalūr KU. — തൃക്കടപ്പള്ളി നീന്തിക്ക Anach. (an ordeal). തൃക്കണ്‍പാര്‍ക്ക Gods & kings to see. തൃ'ര്‍തതരുളേ ണം Anj. have pity! സത്യവും അസത്യവും തൃ'ര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു Nasr. po.
