To cause to eat, (ആനെക്കു)തീററികൊടുക്ക to feed. തീ ററി വളര്‍ക്ക, പോററുക to nourish. 2. to make food of something, അതിന്മേല്‍ വെട്ടിത്തീററാം VyM. തീററിക്കേറുക, അടുക്ക So. to attack fearlessly. 3. to cram; to force down, (also തി വിററുക). ചോറുകുത്തിത്തീററുക to force down the throat. വായില്‍തുണി കുത്തിത്തീററി gagged him. തീററിക്കഥ So. = തീന്‍കഥ a riddle. CV. തീററിക്ക ( = തിന്നിക്ക), as പുല്ലു തീ'ച്ചുകള ഞ്ഞു (through cows). വെള്ളരി മുതലായ ത സ്യാദികള്‍ തീററിച്ചു MR. (an elephant allowed to enter a garden).

tṛδīyam S. (ത്രി ) Third. തൃതീയ (gramm.) The dative case; (astr.) the third day of the lunar fortnight. (തൃ): തൃത്താലിച്ചാര്‍ത്തു a Kshatriya marriage. തൃത്താവു (prob. താഴ്വു, the basin which holds the holy plant). Ocymum sanctum, തുളസി, also called നല്ല തൃ. (&തൃത്വാ അരി a. med.) Kinds: കരിന്തൃ. (=കൃഷ്ണതുളസി), കാട്ടു — GP. Ocymum gratissimum, തുളസി തൃ. Oo. basilicum. തൃത്താക്കുരുവപ്പന്‍ No. (ഗുരു) = മാദേവര്‍. A small obelisk (Phallos?) of ചേടിമണ്‍, placed on the ചൂത്തറ of each house (10 days for Ōṇam & 2 for Maγam) in commemoration, it is said, of the great prosperity under king Mahābali.

Obstruction, hindrance ഓരോരോ തടസ്സും പറഞ്ഞു TR. — also തടസ്സം f. i. നികിതി ത. കൂടാതേ എടുക്ക, ത. കാട്ടുന്നവരോടു ബലത്താലേ തടുത്തു നികിതി വാങ്ങുക വേണ്ടിവരും TR. the renitent. തടസ്ഥം (mod.) id. പണം കൊടുക്കുന്നതിന്നുള്ള തടസ്ഥങ്ങള്‍ TR. difficulties, opposition. അതിന്നു ഏതാനും ത. പറഞ്ഞു MR. objected to it. തടസ്ഥനിവാരണത്തിന്നു MR. to remove the hindrances. ത'ങ്ങള്‍ നേരിടും etc.
