(So. തൊണ്ണന്‍) — a cup made of a cocoanut-shell. 3. So. a passage between two mud-walls. (=തോടു). തൊണ്ടെകല്പു N. pr. The northern boundary of Tuḷu, തൊ. പിടിച്ചു തോവാളക്കട്ടിളയോ ളം പരശുരാമന്‍റെ നാടു, തൊണ്ടെകല്പു പി ടിച്ചു കാഞ്ഞിരോട്ടു കടവോളം തുളുനാടു KU. (Gōkarṇa or a more southern promontory). തൊണ്ടിര (ഇരു) = ഇരെച്ചു കെട്ടിയ തൊണ്ടു No. a swimming apparatus.

tina T. M. (C. തെനെ a spike of corn) Panicum Italicum. തിനക്കഞ്ഞി (med. for wounded). Kinds: കരുന്തി. black millet (കംഗു), ചെ ന്തി. red millet (കന്പു). — തിനപ്പുല്‍ Poa plumosa. തിനയഞ്ചേരി ഇളയതു N. pr., third minister of Tāmūri, a Brahman that crowns him KU., called രണ്ടാം കിരിയം.

tandala (Tu. cudgel) in തന്തലക്കൊട്ടി Crotolaria retusa GP 62. see തെന്തല; തന്തല may be mere imitation of sound. തന്തിനാതി & തെ — (C. Tu. തന്തനതാന) humming a tune. ത'നാതിനാന്നു പാട്ടുമങ്ങു പാടി Kur̀awa song (തന്തിനാ എന്നു).
