nuṇa (aC. നൊണ to devour, aT. നൊ ണ്ടു). 1. Smack, slaver; greediness, നുണ പൊ ട്ടുക the mouth to water, to smack. 2. calumny, flattery, lie (C. നൂളു). നുണയും നൊട്ടയും lies. നുണ പറക to backbite. നുണയന്‍ m., (f. നുണച്ചി) 1. voracious. 2. a talebearer, spy, calumniator. നുണയുക So. to eat greedily.
