parastrī S. (പരം) 1. The wife of another. 2. pōkkaṇam T. So. Humility. പോ. കെട്ടവന്‍ shameless, foolish ചില പോ ക്കണം കെട്ടവരുടെ നാനാവിധങ്ങള്‍ TR. excesses committed by some rascals (rebels). പോ. കേടു dishonor, shamelessness, folly (so Vl. under പൊക്കണം. poǹ 5. 1. Gold (= പൊല്‍ shining), used met. for what is excellent. പൊന്നും മഴ യും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു തന്പുരാന്‍, പൊന്ന് ഒ ന്നു പണി പലതു prov. (said of God). 2. gold-coin വില്ലിട്ട പൊന്‍ TR. = 5 Rup., esp. gold-fanam എട്ടെട്ടു പൊന്നു കെട്ടി TP. — opp. to silver: പണം കൊടുത്തു കാള വാങ്ങുന്പോള്‍ പൊന്നു കൊടുത്തു ചെക്കനെ വാങ്ങേണം prov. paraḷa (loc.) = വരളി Flattened dry cowdung.

pūčči 1. vu. Fart. (S. പൂതി?, Tu. pūke, C. purugu.) പൂച്ചിയും വളിയും No. 2. T. = പുഴു any insect. പൂച്ചിയും ചാതിയും Palg.
