pal &പല്ലു T. M. C. Te. A tooth ആന പ്പല്‍, നരിപ്പ., പശുവിന്‍പ., നായ്പ., മാന്‍പ. a. med. (for eye-diseases). മേല്പ., കീഴ്പ. (അടി പ്പല്‍). കളളപ്പല്ലു a children's disease, swellings inside the mouth. പല്ലിനു തറ ഇട്ടു 434, പ. മു ളെക്ക to teeth. ഉറെച്ച പല്ലുകള്‍ ഉതിര്‍ന്നു പോ കുന്നു KR. So. the web of a key. പല്ലന്‍ one who has large or peouliar teeth, often പൊക്കപ്പല്ലന്‍ m., പുഴുപ്പല്ലി, കൊന്ത്രം പല്ലിച്ചി fem. etc. പല്ലരണ a disease of the gums V1. പല്ലാങ്കുഴി B. a tablet with 14 holes serving for a game, പ. യാടുക. പല്ലിക്കോര a കോര 317. പല്ലിടക്കുത്തി, പല്ലുകോല്‍, പല്ലുകുത്തി, പല്ലുളി a toothpick, tooth-cleaner. പല്ലിടുക്കില്‍ കു ത്തി മണപ്പാന്‍ കൊടുക്ക prov. (to reveal one's own faults). പല്ലിറുമ്മുക So. to gnash the teeth. പല്ലിളിക്ക to grin, snarl പ'ച്ചു കാട്ടി CC., also പല്ലു കാട്ടുക.

pōkkaṇam T. So. Humility. പോ. കെട്ടവന്‍ shameless, foolish ചില പോ ക്കണം കെട്ടവരുടെ നാനാവിധങ്ങള്‍ TR. excesses committed by some rascals (rebels). പോ. കേടു dishonor, shamelessness, folly (so Vl. under പൊക്കണം. The foot, used in swearing ഇന്ദുകലാധര പാദത്താണ,ഗുരുപാദാം ബുജയുഗ്മത്താണ CrArj.; പാ'ത്തെ പിടിക്ക to worship, throw oneself on one's mercy, so പാ ദത്തിങ്കല്‍ വീഴുക = കാല്‍, അടി. 2. the base of a hill, pillar. 3. a quarter പാദാംശം, hence section of a work, as in Nal., Vētāḷa Charitam etc. പാദക്കുരടു So. wood-sandals. പാദകൂടം S. pūδam S. (പൂ to cleanse). Pure — പൂതനാ യുള്ളൊരു താതന്‍, പൂതരായുള്ള സോദരന്മാര്‍ CG. (= noble). പൂതണക്കു (പൂ). A Stereulia, Buch. or Gyrocarpus, or = ഭൂര്‍ജ്ജം.

pāppāǹ 1. T. M. (T. പര്‍പ്പാന്‍, C. pārva; Te. pā/?/uḍu) A Brahman, orig. seer? 2. = പാവാന്‍ an elephant-keeper ആനപ്പാപ്പാ ന്മാര്‍ MR. പാപ്പര്‍ N. pr. of men, as Kaṇiša etc. പാപ്പാത്തി V1. palg. 1. f. of പാപ്പാന്‍. 2. T. a butterfly.

pārka T. M. 1. (fr. prec. as ലോകം and ലോചിക്ക). To regard, behold ഓര്‍ത്തവന്‍ ഓരാണ്ടു പാര്‍ത്തവന്‍ ൧൨ ആണ്ടു prov. ദിവ്യ ലോചനം കൊണ്ടു പാര്‍ത്തു Bhg. of Gods, kings. തൃക്കണ്‍ പാര്‍ത്തരുളേണമേ നീ Anj. നേരും നേ രുകേടും പാര്‍ത്തു കണ്ടു KU. investigated. പാ ര്‍ത്തോളം Bhg. = കണ്ടോളം the more you look or consider. — പാര്‍ത്താല്‍, പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ adv. well considered (an expletive, = നിരൂപിച്ചാല്‍), so പാര്‍ക്കുന്ന നേരം ഇതൊന്നേ നല്ലൂ CG. ഉണ്മയെ പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ ഏറും CG. more than reality warrants (= കാള്‍). നാടതു പാര്‍ത്താല്‍ ബഹുനായകം എ ന്നാകിലും Mud. indeed. 2. to wait for തക്കം പാ. Bhr. തക്കം നോക്കിപ്പാര്‍ത്തു കൊത്തിത്തി ന്നും PT. യുദ്ധത്തിന്നവസരം പാര്‍ത്തുപാര്‍ത്തു Mud. ഓരാതേ പാരാതേ Si Pu. inconsiderately. നി ന്നുടെ വരവു പാര്‍ത്തിരിക്കും Mud. വാവിനെപാ ര്‍ത്തുനിന്നാല്‍, ശരല്ക്കാലത്തിന്‍ വരവു പാര്‍ത്തിരി ക്കുന്നേന്‍ KR. അവനെ പാര്‍ത്തിരുന്നു Anj. ഭി ക്ഷുക്കളെ പേര്‍ത്തുപാര്‍ത്തു PT. കാലത്തെ പാര്‍ക്കാ തേ പോക വേണം CG. കാലം പാര്‍ത്തിരിക്ക to wait upon one (as king, God), to be in attendance. വഴിയെ പാ. to follow one closely everywhere. കടത്തിന്നു ആള്‍ വന്നു നമ്മുടെ വഴിയേ പാര്‍ത്തു മനസ്സു മുട്ടിച്ചു TR. dunned. 3. to stop, dwell ഒട്ടും പാര്‍ക്കാതേ TR. at once. മഴക്കാലം പാ TR. ships to winter. പാരാതേ അറിയേ ണം Bhr. without delay. എവിടേ പാര്‍ക്കുന്നു where does he live? പാര്‍പ്പവര്‍ aM.
