RC. (or large). പൊയ്തല the dried & bent top of a dying cocoanut-tree. പൊയ്തലച്ചി 1. a dying palm. 2. Lawsonia inermis (പുത്തലച്ചി Rh.). പൊയ്ത്ത (part. of പൊയ്ക്ക T. to lie) in പൊ യ്ത്തവഴി a cross-way, by-path. പൊയ്വഴി Bhr. a false way, one of the defences of a fort. പൊയ്വാക്കു a lie. പൊയില്‍ Low ground, f. i. in നെടുന്പൊയില്‍, പൊയില്‍പാടു; see പൊഴില്‍.
