paḍuγa 5. 1. To fall, sink ചളിയില്‍ പ ട്ടുപോയി in mire. സംസാരസമുദ്രത്തിലലയില്‍ പട്ടുകിടന്നുഴലും മനുഷ്യര്‍ Bhg.; പട്ടുകിടക്കമേ ലേ കിടക്കുന്ന നീ പട്ടുകിടക്കുമാറായിതോ ചോ രയില്‍Bhr. fallen in battle. താളിപ്പനപ to die. 2. to be obtained, caught കൊത്തുന്നതു കൊ ക്കില്‍പ്പടായ്കയാല്‍ PT. 3. to happen, to be in a state = പെടുക to get into a direction, hence പട്ടു = പെട്ടു q. v. a. v. പടുക്ക 1. To build, chiefly a well, tank to lay stones, etc. കിണറു കല്ലു പടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളതു MR.; കല്ലു കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കിലും KU.; സേതു പ. pōkku T. M. C. (പോക). 1.
