parapūvar (പരക്ക, പരവ?) N. pr. A caste = പള്ളിച്ചാന്മാര്‍ KN., see പറപ്പു. pāδiri 1. T. M. C. (S. പാടലി). The trumpet-flower, Bignonia suaveolens പാ'പ്പു GP. One of the പഞ്ചമൂലം is പൂപ്പാ. വേര്‍. GP. One kind is വെണ്‍പാ., വെളുത്ത പാ. Bign. Indioa. 2. Port. Padre, a priest, Christian minister (hon. പാതിരിയാര്‍). പാതിരിപ്പൂനിറം brown, tawny.

parōkšam S. (പരഃ, അക്ഷ). Lying beyond our sight or perception, opp. പ്രത്യക്ഷം, as പരോക്ഷജ്ഞാനം Bhg.; പൂ൪വ്വകാണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ ഭിന്നമായി പ'മായി ദു൪ബ്ബലമായി Bhg. are abrogated as torn & thrown aside, (because അപ രോക്ഷജ്ഞാനം (36) വന്നു). പരോപകാരം S. Tdbh. (പൂ൪വ്വഫല്ഗുനി S.) 1. piṇḍi T. M. Te. C. (Tu. puṇḍi, see പിണ്ഡം) 1. What is squeezed, wrung out, dregs, refuse, sediment. 2. elephant's dung ആനപ്പി. (V1. പിണ്ടം). 3. വാഴപ്പി. a plantain stem, used as mark for arrows. 4. So. a large bamboo V1.; (B. raft = പാണ്ടി?) പിണ്ടിക്ക(ായി) the wild nutmeg. പിണ്ടിപാലം RC. see ഭി —.
