paṭṭaḍa (T. C. an anvil, fr. പടുക) Funeral pile = ചിത, as പ. കൂട്ടുക; also = ചുടലക്കാടു.

pōṇči 1. A cap made of പാള No.; also a pouch made of പാള‍ tied round the waist & used only by those who go to worship പെ രുമാള്‍ in കൊട്ടിയൂര്‍. 2. E. punch, പോ. ക ലക്കുക.

paḍaṇṇụ T. aM. 1. A tent, awning മണിപ്പടങ്ങിന്‍ മിചെവൈത്തു RC.; also a flag (Te.). ഉരപ്പെഴും പടക്കു വേന്തന്‍ RC. 2. So. a slip put under timber to push it more easily, പ. തടി B. (a roller).

parišu T. M. aC. (Te. parasu, fr. പരി II.). 1.
