Fine cloth, spread cloth, sheet കരിന്പ., വിരിപ്പു., മുല പ്പ., ആനപ്പ., etc.; ഇരിക്കുന്ന പ. a carpet. 2. chequered cloth, (പ. വരെക്ക to make squares as of a chessboard) — a picture = ചിത്രപ്പടം, f. i. യമപടം Mud. a picture representing Hades. 3. Tdbh. സ്ഫടം, ഫണം expanded hood of a snake പ. വിരിക്ക, താഴ്ത്തുക; also met. വെള്ളി കൊണ്ടുള്ള പാന്പിന്‍ പ. MR. an idol's ornament. ഒററപ്പടമുള്ളവന്‍, (opp. ഇരുതലക്കുഴലി) V2. — പ. കഴിക്ക a snake to cast the skin. 4. the flat part of the hand or foot. പടത്തില്‍ ഓരടി slap. കൈപ്പടത്തെത്തിരിച്ചു Nid. pariṇṇal (fr. പരിക്കു). 1. Scratched surface, hurt skin. 2. V1. the roe of fish, rather പരിഞ്ഞില്‍. 3. griet, distraction. പരിങ്ങു V1. the hilt of a sword (or — ഞ്ഞു) പരിങ്ങുക 1. to be perplexed. 2. to lie in wait, steal V1; to pluck grass B. CV. പരിങ്ങിക്ക to confound.

pinam S. (part, of പീ to swell, G. piōn). Fat, full as breast. Bhr. പീനാംസന്‍ S. of stout make V1.

pandayam T. So. (C. Te. Tu. pantam, panthyam, pandemu, resolution, wager, fr. ബ ന്ധം). A stake പ. കെട്ടുക, കൂറുക B.; തമ്മില്‍ പ. വെച്ചു ചതുരംഗം കളിക്ക VyM.

paraġaδi S. (പരം 3.). Bliss എല്ലാ ര്‍ക്കും ഗുരു തന്നേ പരയായുള്ള ഗതി KR. പരജന്മം another birth. പരജാതന്‍ a bastard, Bhr. പരജാതി a foreign tribe, other caste. പരണി Tdbh.; ഭരണി A vase, jar. പരണി ക്കിണ്ണം an earthen plate. പരണ്‍ T. So., also പരണ a loft under the roof, rude ceiling; a frame for drying something over the fire-place.

puraḷuγa T. aM. C. Te. Tu. To roll (mod. പി —). പൊടിയാലണിന്തു വീഴ്ന്തു പുര ണ്ടു RC. ചെവ്വരി 387. v. a. പുരട്ടുക To turn about (=പി —). പു രട്ടും തല എപ്പോഴും Nid. കണ്ണില്‍ പു. the pain of objects fallen into the eye. — fig. പുരട്ടും വാക്കു പോരും VeY. പുരളിക്ക (loc.) to revolve in the mind. ഞാന്‍ പു'ച്ചില്ല didn't mind, better പൊരുളിക്ക.
