peṭṭa T. M. Te. 1. The female of birds (= പെട), rather So. 2. the female of asses, camels. പെട്ടക്കുതിര MC. a mare. 3. So. a couple, brace (C. penṭi coition, Te. peṇḍli marriage) പെട്ട കെട്ടുക. 4. aM. baldness പെട്ടത്തലയന്‍ V1. 2., പെട്ടക്കൂട്ടം a bald race, പെട്ട ഉണ്ടാക V1.

pāyasam S. (പയസ്സ്). 1. Rice boiled in milk = പാല്‍ച്ചോറു, ഹേമപാത്രസ്ഥമായ പായസം AR.; a meal in a temple പാല്‍പാ. ചരക്കില്‍ വെച്ചു vu. പായതച്ചോററിന്നിരിക്ക TP. 2. a vow ആഴിവര്‍ണ്ണനു പായസ്സം പതി നാറു കഴിപ്പന്‍ SG. (gen. പണപ്പായസം).

paraidhiδam S. = പരഭൃതം (ഏ ധ). — in V1. Falsely. പരൈധികന്‍ a young servant.

pōδi Tdbh. = ഭഗവതി f. i. പെരുമാളും പോതിന്‍റെ പാന്പുങ്ങള്‍ TP.; കരിന്പുലി പോതി (Wayanāḍu).
