paraḷa (loc.) = വരളി Flattened dry cowdung.

paδa 1. Boiling, throbbing; also T. 2. foam, froth, as on toddy. പത കളക V2. to skim. പതയുക So. to foam, bubble — VN. പതച്ചല്‍. പതെക്ക T. M. 1. to palpitate V1. 2. v. n. to boil up, foam പതെച്ച വെള്ളം vu.; so ഭൂമി, ഓട്ടുപുര etc., പൂഴി പതെച്ചിട്ടു കടപ്പുറത്തു നടന്നൂട emitting heat, തല നൊന്തു പ. No. 3. v. a. So. to agitate. CV.
