pappaḍam (C.Tu. happaḷam. S. പര്‍പ്പ ടം). A thin, crisp cake of ഉഴുന്നു; one kind is ക്ഷാരപപ്പടം GP.; ഉരുക്കുനെയ്യില്‍ ചുട്ട പ. TP. പപ്പടക്കല്ലു a millstone തിരിക്കല്ലു, taxed MR. പപ്പടക്കാരം = potass. പപ്പടച്ചെട്ടി a caste of cakemakers, Jainas (114 at Taḷiparambu).

pratyak S. (പ്രതി + അഞ്ച്). Turned towards; subsequent, western ബാണങ്ങള്‍ ചെന്നടുക്കുന്നേരം തല്ക്ഷണം പ്രത്യങ്മുഖങ്ങളായി വീണു AR. fell backwards (through a charm).

pārka T. M. 1. (fr. prec. as ലോകം and ലോചിക്ക). To regard, behold ഓര്‍ത്തവന്‍ ഓരാണ്ടു പാര്‍ത്തവന്‍ ൧൨ ആണ്ടു prov. ദിവ്യ ലോചനം കൊണ്ടു പാര്‍ത്തു Bhg. of Gods, kings. തൃക്കണ്‍ പാര്‍ത്തരുളേണമേ നീ Anj. നേരും നേ രുകേടും പാര്‍ത്തു കണ്ടു KU. investigated. പാ ര്‍ത്തോളം Bhg. = കണ്ടോളം the more you look or consider. — പാര്‍ത്താല്‍, പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ adv. well considered (an expletive, = നിരൂപിച്ചാല്‍), so പാര്‍ക്കുന്ന നേരം ഇതൊന്നേ നല്ലൂ CG. ഉണ്മയെ പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ ഏറും CG. more than reality warrants (= കാള്‍). നാടതു പാര്‍ത്താല്‍ ബഹുനായകം എ ന്നാകിലും Mud. indeed. 2. to wait for തക്കം പാ. pūval 1. (VN. of പൂക്ക). Flourishing or T. M. red colour (=പൂവത്തു) in പൂവലംഗം, SiPu. പൂവല്‍മേനി, പൂവല്‍മൈ CG. a fine body. 2. B. a fruit with the flower attached, empty pod. 3. dampness, moisture (=പുകില്‍). മഴ പെയ്തു പൂല്‍ അടങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല No. = നനവു മു ന്പേയുള്ള നനവോടെത്തിയില്ല the rain has not penetrated the soil. പൂല്‍ ഉള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു കുമിള്‍; വിത്തു ഇരുപൂലില്‍ ആയ്പോയി No. has sprouted only partly (the field must be resown). met. ഇന്നിന്നവനു നല്ല പൂല്‍ അല്ലേ = No. he thrives. 4. a crop എത്ര പൂവ്വലുള്ള നിലം, ഇരു പൂവ്വലുള്ളതു Arb. pāyal So. & പായില്‍, പായി (T. പാചി fr. പചു green; rather C. Te. pāču, pāṇču to spread [old: prāṇču] hence C. pāču, Tu. pāse, Te. pāṇči).
