puḷakka (Tu. poḷapu) = പിളക്ക v. n. To be split ബാണങ്ങള്‍ ഏററു പുളക്കയാല്‍ CG. നിന്‍റെ കുടല്‍ പുളക്കേണം vu.; വായിപു. puraḷuγa T. aM. C. Te. Tu. To roll (mod. പി —). പൊടിയാലണിന്തു വീഴ്ന്തു പുര ണ്ടു RC. ചെവ്വരി 387. v. a. പുരട്ടുക To turn about (=പി —). പു രട്ടും തല എപ്പോഴും Nid. കണ്ണില്‍ പു. the pain of objects fallen into the eye. — fig. പുരട്ടും വാക്കു പോരും VeY. പുരളിക്ക (loc.) to revolve in the mind. ഞാന്‍ പു'ച്ചില്ല didn't mind, better പൊരുളിക്ക.

pušṭam S. (part, of പുഷ്, പോഷണം). Fed, thriving, stout, ample പുഷ്ടപ്രതിഗ്രഹം കിട്ടും PT. a rich gift. പുഷ്ടകോപത്തോടു, പുഷ്ട രോഷാല്‍ AR. പുഷ്ടമോദേന Bhr. KR. പുഷ്ട കൌതുകം Mud. = പൊങ്ങിന. പു'മായ്തിന്നുക = മൃഷ്ടം. പുഷ്ടന്‍ stout, wealthy V1. പുഷ്ടി S. thriving, increase, abundance ഇല്ല

puḷḷi T. M. (= പുള്ളടി? C. Te. Puḷḷi, a thin piece of grass, straw = പുല്ക്കൊടി). 1. A dot, spot, point പൂച്ചത്തോലില്‍ പു. കുത്തി പു ലിത്തോല്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു VyM. പു. യുള്ളൊരു പട്ടും തരുവാന്‍ SG. (= വീരാളിപ്പട്ടു). പു. പു. യാ യിരിക്ക to be much spotted. ആരിയപ്പു. a kind of spots on cattle. കടകം പുള്ളിക്കാള with spots on the neck, belly & feet (claimed by Rājas) — (also N. pr. of places f. i. പരുത്തി പ്പുള്ളി). 2. the mark s in gram., the vowel എ. 3. a cipher, nought. 4. an article or person, and their valuation. ചെറു പു. a trifle. — പാറാപ്പു. a prisoner. പുള്ളിക്കാരന്‍ (4), നല്ല പു. a man of note, influential = തറവാട്ടുകാരന്‍. — പു'ക്കാര്‍ Trav. tax-payers. — പുള്ളിക്കാരത്തി f. = തറവാട്ടുകാര ത്തി, also beautiful. പുള്ളിക്ക V1. to be spotted, speckled. പുള്ളിക്കുത്തു flaw in cloth, etc. പുള്ളിച്ചി f. (1) M. spotted f. i. പു. പ്പശു. പുള്ളിത്താപ്പു a private mark of price on cloth. പുള്ളിപ്പുലി a leopard; this as well as പുള്ളി നരി are considered royal property KU. പുള്ളിപ്പുലിയന്‍ N. pr. a Paradēvata. പുള്ളിമാന്‍ a spotted deer. പു'ങ്കണ്ണി SiPu. പു' ങ്കരനു പോലുമാമല്ല RC. to Siva, — also പു ള്ളിമറിമാന്‍ Sil. പുള്ളിവസത്രം spotted cloth as given after പുങ്ങം. പുള്ളിവിളക്കം So. 1. examination of accounts. 2. registration of anything in the names of persons after ascertaining their rights. pāččōt/?/t/?/i, old പാല്‍ച്ചോററി T. a. med. (പാല്‍ച്ചോറു q. v.). The Lodh tree, the bark is used in dyeing, Symplocus racemosa or Ruellia secunda GP 64. പാല്‍ച്ചോ. ഇടിച്ചു പി ഴിഞ്ഞ നീര്‍ a. med.; also ചെന്പാ., ചുവന്ന പാ (also മലങ്കമുകു). വെണ്‍പാ. paḍu S. (= പൃഥു?) Sharp, clear (sound), clever, smart (Compr. പടീയാന്‍). കപട പടുവി നുടെ മൊഴി PT. clever rogue. ഞാന്‍ പടുവെ ന്നഹമ്മതിയല്ല താനും KR. abstr N. പടുത്വം ability. — പടുതകള്‍ Nal.

punnāram (പുന്‍ = പുതു?) or പൊ ന്നാരം Caressing, flattery. വാക്കിന്‍റെ പു. V1. the charm of his words. പുന്നാരിക്ക = ഓമനിക്ക, കൊഞ്ചുക V2. പുന്നാരക്കാരന്‍ a flatterer. പുന്നെല്‍ (= പുതുനെല്‍) or പുല്‍നെല്‍ new rice. പുന്നെലരിയും ചെറു താലിയും Palg. I/?/avars (a Tāli, present of money, 71/2 measures rice, betel & cloth taken to the bride's house). പുന്നെലവിലും വരട്ടുതേങ്ങയും (song — for Nivēdya to Gaṇapati). പുന്നെല്‍കൂഴം = കൂഴ ത്തരി of പുന്നെല്‍. — ചെറുകല്‍ പു a kind of rice (S. മാതുലാനി). പുന്മ (T = പുല്മ fr. പുല്‍ littleness) = പുതുമ in പുഞ്ചിരിപ്പുന്മ Anj. പുന്മൂട = പുല്‍മൂട.
