mokkaḷam No. (Mpl. മൊക്കു, loc. T. മൊക്കൈ a notch). A hollow in the edge or gunwale of a boat to insert a pin (= thole-pin), to which the oar is hooked.

malekka T. M. C. (മല). 1. mala 5. (മല്‍). 1.
