mańńa (fr. മഞ്ഞള്‍). Yellow or turmeric colour. മഞ്ഞക്കച്ച = മഞ്ഞച്ചീല formerly much worn by Muckuwar & Mugayar women No. മഞ്ഞക്കരു the yolk of an egg. മഞ്ഞക്കാണി the gift of a father for undertaking a special job V1.

maršaṇam S. (മറക്ക?). Forgetting, enduring — മര്‍ഷിക്ക = ക്ഷമിക്ക.

mand/?/ēδaram S. (ഇതരം). Quickly. മന്ദോഷ്ണം S. tepid, lukewarm. മന്ദ്രം S. deep tone, grumbling.

maǰǰanam S. (L mergo). Diving, bathing, sinking ലജ്ജയാം കടലില്‍ മ. ചെയ്തു PT.; fig. അവനില്‍ മ. ചെയ്തൊന്നെന്നുള്ളം CG. = is merged in him. മജ്ജനശാല = കുള — & കുളിപ്പുര a bath.

moṭṭa T. M. C. Tu. (മുണ്ഡ). 1. A bald head ചിരെച്ചാല്‍ മൊട്ട prov.; a Brahman widow; a Māpḷa ഉപ്പു പുളിക്കൂലും മൊ. ചതി ക്കും prov. മൊ. അടിക്ക to shave the head completely. 2. = മുട്ട an egg. മൊട്ടക്കുന്നു a bare hillock. മൊട്ടക്കൊന്പന്‍ cattle having lost one horn or both. മൊട്ടത്തലയന്‍ a Māpḷa. മൊട്ടത്തൈ a cocoanut-plant before the shooting of തിരുള്‍. മൊട്ടപ്പശ So. the white of eggs used as glue.

miḍar̀ụ T. M. (C. meṭre, Te. miḍa fr. മി ട T. to be compressed). 1. The throat മിടററി ടേച്ചൊല്‍ തുടിത്തു RC. voice stifled. ഇരിണ്ട മി ടറന്‍ RC. Siva. 2. So. T. a draught, gulp. മിടററുക, മിടത്തുക (loc.) to wedge in കോടാ ലികൊണ്ടു പൂട്ടു മിടത്തി to force, open.
