maδi. (മന്‍). 1. The mind; in Cpds. minded as ദുര്‍മ്മ., ക്രൂരമതികള്‍, നഷ്ടമതികള്‍ Sah. 2. understanding ഞാന്‍ ബുദ്ധിക്കു മതി പോരാ തേ ഉള്ളവന്‍; opinion, inclination ക്രൂരയായ മതി KR. (fem). 3. estimation. നിന്‍റെ മതിയും കൊതിയും കെടുവോളത്തിന്നു തിന്നുക satisfy thy appetite; taxes, esp. port dues V1. ഇറ ക്കുമ., ഏററുമ., കുത്തുമതി. f. i. അത്ര വെച്ചു ക ണ്ടാലും മതി പോരും KU. manassụ S. (manas, മന്‍, L. mens, mind). 1. The intellect മനസ്സിലായി= ബോ ധിച്ചു understood, perceived, remembered, ആ യതു മനസ്സിലാക്കി TR. made himself acquainted with it. മനസ്സില്‍ കിടക്കട്ടേ don't disclose it. മനസ്സില്‍ ചക്കര prov. (opp. വായില്‍). മ'ല്‍ വെക്ക to recollect. As imaginative faculty it is distinguished from ചിത്തം & ബുദ്ധി. 2. will, attention, വീരനെ വനത്തിലാക്കുവാന്‍ മ. വെ ച്ചുളള മനുഷ്യന്‍ KR. who originated the idea
