mina (= വിന). 1. Work. 2. evil work = തീവിന, as മിനെക്കു പുറപ്പെടുക to attempt some evil. മിന കാണിക്ക to show a bad disposition. മിനക്കെടുക 1. to idle away time. 2. to have leisure for nothing besides. നിത്യം ഈവ ണ്ണം മി'ട്ടിരുന്നു Bhg. behaved always thus. എന്തിന്നു മി'ട്ടു ഈ കാര്യം പറയുന്നു continually. ഇത്രനാളും മി'ട്ടു പഠിച്ചു Bhg. uninterruptedly. VN. മിനക്കേടു being unoccupied; time & labor spent to no purpose. മിനക്കെടുക്ക to cumber, interrupt work; make idle.

mēru S. (മീ, മേല്‍). The fabulous mountain of the North മേരുവും കടുകുമുള്ള അന്തരം ഉണ്ടു നമ്മില്‍ Bhr. വന്മേ. ക്കുന്നു താന്‍ എന്ന പോലേ CG. അഴകെഴും മേരൂര്‍ക്കുന്നു RC. മ ഹാമേതു സമാനധീരര്‍ TR. (in complimentary address). മേരുപ്പു (മേരു T. sandiver, glass-gall). So. a med. salt ഏററം ലഘുവായുള്ള മേ. GP 73.
