vir̀a M. (C. Te. fear, T. stupor, numbness fr. വിറു 5. stiff). Tremor. — വിറപ്പനി ague. — വിറവാതം paralysis. — വിറവീക്കത്തിന്നുത്ത മം GP. വിറ കൊള്‍ക CC. to shiver. — also വിറയല്‍ = വേപഥു med. ഭീതനായി വി. പൂണ്ടു SiPu. — വിറയന്‍ a coward. വിറെക്ക T. M. To shiver, tremble ഗാത്രം വി'ച്ചു Mud. (from wrath). കൈലാസം വി'ച്ചു പോം SiPu. നോക്കിയാല്‍ നിലം വി'ക്കുന്നതെ ന്നു തോന്നുമതു a. med. an eye-disease. višu S. (ദ്വിഷു? G. 'isos). 1. Equipoised 2. equinox, chiefly the feast of vernal equinox (see ഓണം). മേഷസങ്ക്രാന്തി വിഷുപുണ്യകാ ലം, തുലാസങ്ക്രാന്തിവിഷുവല്‍പുണ്യകാലം TrP. 1st of Mēḍam = 10th April. വിഷുവില്‍ പിന്നേ വേനല്‍ ഇല്ല prov. ഓണവും വിഷുവും വരാതേ പോകട്ടേ old prov.
