šrēyas S. (ശ്രീ). 1. Better, best. ശ്രേയാന്‍ m. 2. prosperity, happiness തങ്ങ ളെ ശ്രേ. ൦ഗുണങ്ങളും കേട്ടു, നമുക്ക് അതു കൊ ണ്ടു ശ്രേ. വരേണം TR. ശ്രേ. ഉണ്ടാക ഭവാനു KR. ശ്രേയസ്സുളില്‍ ഒന്നു മുഖ്യം Bhg. the highest good (=പുരുഷാര്‍ത്ഥം) is ഭക്തി. ശ്രേഷ്ഠം S. (Superl.) best, superior; മുനിശ്രേ ഷ്ഠന്‍ etc. ശ്രേഷ്ഠത,— ത്വം S. excellency, superiority. ശ്രേഷ്ഠി S. the head-man of a trade or art ശ്രേ. വര്‍ത്തകന്‍ Mud. sādhu S. (സാധ്). 1. Perfect പക്ഷം ഇതു സാധുതരം ChVr. the best advice, also സാധീയാന്‍ Comp., സാധിഷ്ഠം Superl.; Voc. സാധോ CC.; സാ. ക്കളാകുന്നതു സമചിത്തന്മാ രല്ലോ AR., f. സാദ്ധ്വി. 2. meek, gentle സാ. ശീലന്‍; (mod.) humble, poor സാധുവായിട്ടുള്ള ജനങ്ങള്‍, സാ. ക്കളായിരിക്കുന്ന കുടിയാന്മാര്‍ TR. peaceable subjects. 3. valid, legal അതു സാ. വായ്വരികയില്ല TR. (a document). അതു വരേ ലേലം സാ. വാകയില്ല jud. 4. = സാധ നം 3. property സാ. സൂക്ഷിപ്പാന്‍ ആളായില്ല, സാ. മുടിക്ക So. സാധുത S. goodness സാ. ാഗുണങ്ങള്‍ Nal. abstr.
