A palm-tree, esp. palmyra, Borassus flabelliformis, [ആര്യപ്പ. with larger leaves; കരിന്പ. & നീലക്കരി — TP., എഴുത്തോ ലപ്പന are difft. names]. നെടുന്പന പോയാല്‍ കുറുന്പന നെടുന്പന prov. (നീലക്കുറുന്പനവില്ലു TP.). പന ചെത്തുക (പനയേററം) to tap it.
