Rh. = കടന്പു; ചിരച്ച. ഒരുത്തരു ടെ ചക്കയും തേങ്ങയും കട്ടിട്ടില്ല vu. ചക്കെക്കു തേങ്ങാ കൊണ്ടിട്ടും കൂട്ടേണം prov. ńamuṇḍnγa (C. നവുടു to rub) To squeeze; knead, f. i. rice with curry as Brahmans do in eating. പാലില്‍ പുഴുങ്ങി ഞമുണ്ടി a. med. (also ഞമിണ്ടുക No.; see ഞെവിണ്ടുക). ഞമ്മള്‍ Mpl. = നമ്മള്‍.

puṇṇụ 1. (T. പുന്‍കു). Pongamia glabra, as kinds are considered ഉങ്ങു, ആവില്‍, അംഗാ രവല്ലരി. 2. (= പുഴുങ്ങു) sugar from palmyra toddy (loc).

pu/?/uṇṇuγa T. M. (aC. to decay = പുഴുക്ക I.). 1. v. n. To be boiling, stewed, steamed ചക്ക പുഴുങ്ങിയകലം prov. — പുഴുങ്ങ ലരി rice made from parboiled Paddy (opp. ഉണങ്ങലരി). പുഴുങ്ങല്‍ചൂര്‍ Palg. the steam of wet rice-straw (smelling like boiled paddy). 2. v. a. = പുഴുക്കുക to parboil. VN. I. പുഴുക്കം boiling, steaming heat. II. പുഴുക്കു T. M. (C. pu/?/ga, huggi, Tu. purgo) fruits or vegetables boiled, a dish of curry. പുഴുക്കും കഞ്ഞിയും a morning meal. പുഴുക്കുഴന്പു opp. വറുകുഴന്പു med.

mūḍụ 1. (fr. മുടു under മുടം). The bottom f. i. of a dish ഇളനീരിന്‍റെ മൂടു കൊത്തുക (= കണ്ണു ള്ള ഭാഗം, al. = ആണ്മുറി). മുണ്ടിന്‍ മൂടരിഞ്ഞു KU.
