čoṭṭu T.M. 1. TP. etc. Hence: ചൊട്ടുകത്തി Mpl. = ചൊട്ടവാള്‍. ചൊട്ടുക (C. സൊണ, T. So. to drop, rain) 1. To rap with the knuckles, knock with the finger, chiefly on the head; also ചൊട്ടി നോ ക്ക No. = കൊട്ടിനോക്ക. 2. to be disappointed. വ യറുചൊട്ടിപ്പോയി abortus. കാര്യം ചൊ. proved abortive. തമ്മില്‍ ചൊ. they fell out. čimbuγa (ചിമ) To twinkle with the eyes. കണ്ണുകള്‍ തങ്ങളെ ചി'ന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ Bhr. — to close the eyes V1. നേത്രങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്പി തരസാ മിഴിച്ചാള്‍ CC. čāḍa T. M. (C. Te. ജാഡു unsubstantial = ചള്ളു) Seedless, empty as husk; faint notice of something, a trace. ചാടയായി പോക to prove abortive, to be blasted, to disappoint.

čimukkụ (No.) Strength, vigour (= ചിമിട്ടു). — ചിമുക്കുക, ക്കി 1. to beat with the fist, to move, to speak. B. 2. to fear V1. — ചിമുക്കം dread V1.

čurakka T. M. (ചുര 3. or ചൊ രി) 1. Milk to form or collect in the breast (= പാല്‍നിറയുക, തിങ്ങിവരിക); milk to flow richly നന്മുലതിണ്ണം ചുരന്നു, എന്മുലകാണ്ക ചുര ന്നതു CG. ഊഢമോദം മുലചുരന്നു AR. (of a mother injoy, longing, etc.) also മുലയില്‍ പാല്‍ ചുരന്നീടും Nid. 2. to spring forth, to gush out തേന്‍ ചുരന്നീടുന്ന ചോരിവാ CG. — met. ഉള്ളില്‍ച്ചുരന്ത കനിവോടേ, ചുരന്ത കോപത്തി നാലേ RC.
