naččam (നച്ചു C. Te. T. to aim at, desire; see നഞ്ചു) & നച്ചക്കുഴല്‍, നച്ചക്കോല്‍ (ഊതിപ്പിടിക്ക) A tube to shoot birds or fishes with clay pellets, arrows, etc. (T. നച്ചുക്കോല്‍). നച്ചത്തിങ്കായി a kind of vegetable poison for fish, (നഞ്ചു) Rh. നച്ചു (T. poisonous, fr. നഞ്ചു) poison — നച്ചെ ണ്ണ Pay; met. നച്ചായിനാന്‍ അരികുലത്തി ന്നു RC. നച്ചെലി So. T. a musk-rat. നച്ചിയം Tdbh. = നസ്യം.

nuṇil (നുണ്‍ T. aM. C. Te. fine, minute) Scurf, itch. നുണ്ണിറച്ചി V1. a kind of myrrh. നുണ്മ aM. minuteness നുണ്മയും ഇയന്നപടി ക ണ്ടു;മെയി നുണ്മണലായി വീഴ്ത്തി RC. made it dust.
