poḍarikka (C. poḍaru to shake). To annoy, bother.

H. paṭālan, A battalion, regiment, army — പട്ടാളക്കാര്‍ etc. പട്ടാളിച്ചുപോക No. (പട്ട) = പോളിച്ചുപോക paddy, greens, etc. over-grown on account of too much shadow or manure, having leaves only but no fruit, (comp. പട്ടെക്ക).

piδuṇṇuγa T. M. (C. hodaku). 1. So. To be squeezed, pressed out. 2. No. children to make wry faces, begin to cry. പിതുക്കുക T. M. Te. C. to crush തവളയെ ചവി ട്ടി പിതുക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു No.; to press the matter out of a boil (= പിളുക്കുക).

So മൂന്നു തലയും മുറിച്ചുപന്താടിനാന്‍ AR. played bowls with his enemies' heads. മുല തുള്ളവേ പന്താടുന്ന ഭ്രമി KR. — VN. പന്താട്ടം = പന്തുകളി. പന്തുകളി play at ball. പന്തുവരാടി a certain tune (T. C. പ'ളി). തോ ടിയും പ. കാമോദരി പാടുന്നു VetC.

(opp. ഇഷ്ടം). 2. diet, regimen, പ. ഇരിക്ക to observe it carefully, പ. മുറിക്ക to stop or transgress it. പത്ഥ്യക്കാരന്‍ careful about the prescribed regimen. പത്ഥ്യക്കേടു, പത്ഥ്യപ്പിഴ unsuitableness; transgressing any prescribed diet.
