piḍāraǹ T. M. (see പിഷാരന്‍). A snake-catcher V1.; a caste making painted shields, boxes, etc. No. = തോല്ക്കൊല്ലന്‍; a class of lower Brahman s, who drink liquor & worship Sacti (or a Kāḷi, called പിടാരി V1.) pōruγa (T. പോതുക, Te. C. to fight, fr. പൊരുക). 1. To come, go along, return ഇങ്ങോട്ടു പോരികേ വേണ്ടു, ഞാന്‍ നി ന്‍റെ കൂടേ ബംബായില്‍ പോരുന്നു TR.; ഒരു മോഹം കൊണ്ട് അങ്ങോട്ടു ചാടിയാല്‍ പല മോ ഹം കൊണ്ടിങ്ങോട്ടു പോരുമോ prov.; കൈ, കാള പോരുന്നില്ല No. is jammed in, sticks fast (cannot get the arm out of the sleeve, the shoes off the feet) etc. പോരാതേ പോയി Anj. went away no more to return. പോരേ നീ Bhr. go home, ഏല്പിച്ചു പോന്നു Mud. came away after. എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടു പോരാം (= വരാം). വഴിയോട്ടു പോരാതേ കണ്ടു നിന്നു മരിച്ചു TR. would not draw back.
