pūǰuγa T. M. Tu. (C. pūsu, Tu. pūju, Te. pūyu) & പൂശുക. 1. To smear, daub, rub (ചന്ദനം & other pastes). കുങ്കുമച്ചാറു പൂ ചുവാന്‍ KR. അതു നൂററിപ്പൂ ചുന്നു മെയ്യില്‍ CG. met. തെന്നല്‍ മാലേയം തന്മണം മെയ്യില്‍ പൂചി CG. has imbibed the fragrance. 2. to whitewash കുമ്മായം, വെള്ള — to plaster. — met. അ ല്പം പൂശി അയച്ചു tried to soften. 3. with പൊന്‍ to gild. ഇരുന്പില്‍ വെള്ളി പൂശി VyM. silvered.
