maraṇam S. (മൃ). Dying, death മ. ഉണ്ടെ നിക്കു Anj. I have to die. Cpds. മരണകാലം, — വായു etc.; വിഷം മരണദം GP. deadly. മരണപത്രിക, — സാധനം S. a will, testament. മരണപ്പാച്ചല്‍ പായുക to run for life; to run at the top of one's speed. മരണഭയം Mud. fear of death. മരണവേദന, — സങ്കടം (= പ്രാണ —) agony. മരണവേള Palg. = മരണസമയം. മരണാന്തം S. ending with death പൈരങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാം മ. KR. മരതകം (constantly = മരകതം). An emerald മ രതകയസ്തംഭങ്ങള്‍ KR. മ'ല്ലു Bhr. മരതി a Par̀ayar deity (= death?).

malekka T. M. C. (മല). 1.
