meruγụ (& വെരുക q. v. Tdbh. മൃഗം? in T. Te. C. Tu. മെരുകു lustre, glittering = മിന്‍). 1. The civet-cat, also കൂട്ടില്‍ ഇട്ട മെരു prov. Kinds: കൊടിമെരു (with പുഴുകു), മര — or ക ള്ളുണ്ണിമെരു. (പുഴുകു 2, 688). മെരുകിന്‍ ചട്ടം So. its ventricle. 2. = പുഴുകു as മെരു ഓററുക, അണെക്ക to emit the civet.

mēḍụ T. M. C. (മീ or മാടു, Te. mōḍu). 1. Rising ground, a hillock. കുന്നും മേടും hill & dale; മേടും പള്ളവും ups & downs. അകത്തു മേടു the seed-vessel or pericardium of lotus. 2. trouble, കടല്‍മേടു പെടുക V1. to be wrecked. വളരേ പാടും മേടും affliction. മേട്ടുവഴി a causeway.

muyal T. M. (Tu. muyera, Te. nosalu, C. mola fr. T. മുയല്‍ activity). A hare, rabbit, esp. Lepus nigricollis കൊന്പുള്ള മു., ചൂട്ട കണ്ട മു. prov., മുയല്‍ ഇളക്കുക, ആട്ടുക. മുയ. ചോര യുടെ വര്‍ണ്ണം വന്നാല്‍ Nid. reddish.

muḍikka T. M. (മുടി). 1. To tie up മുടി ച്ച കൂന്തല്‍ വീണു KR. 2. to finish, spend, destroy. വേണ്ടും നിയമങ്ങളെ മുടിത്തു പുനലാ ടി RC. fulfilled. കണ്ടവരെ കൊന്നു മു. Mud. അവനെ കൊന്നു മുടിക്കില്‍ CG. ക്ഷത്രിയരെ മുടിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു KU. ഇടിപൊടി മു. Bhr. മുടിച്ചു കളക to squander. ഭക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെ തൊട്ടു മു. TR. contaminated. ഇല്ലാക്കി മുടിപ്പു RC. (= തീര്‍ക്ക). VN. മുടിപ്പു (C.
