(= ചില്ലറ) small articles of daily use as bought in the bazar. ആ ളുകള്‍ക്ക് അരിയും ചില്വാനങ്ങളും കൊടുക്ക provisions. പട്ടാളത്തില്‍ അരി ചില്ലാനം എത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു, സിപ്പായ്കള്‍ക്കു അരി ചി ല്വാനം വില്പിക്ക TR. supplies.

tiṭṭaδi, also ദിഷ്ടതി q. v. (തിട്ടു 2.). Straits, want പത്തു പണത്തിന്നു തി. ഉണ്ടു vu.; തി. ഉള്ളതു urgent, തി. പൂണ്ടുനിന്നു CG. in great perplexity. അവളെ തി. യാക്കിക്കണക്കില്‍ ഏ ററം CG. drove her nearly out of her wits.

paṇam 5. S. (√ പണ്‍ to exchange, buy, bet) 1. Tu. പന്തം, പന്ഥം), വില്‍മുറിക്കുന്ന പുമാന്‍ ഭര്‍ത്താവാകുന്ന തു മല്‍പുത്രിക്ക് എന്നൊരു പണം ചിത്തത്തില്‍ നിരൂപിച്ചു AR 1. പണക്കാരന്‍ 1. a wealthy man. 2. adj. പ. മുണ്ടു, രണ്ടു പ. തുണി TR. cloth sold for one, two fanam. പണത്തൂക്കം weight of a (gold) fanam (= 2 മ ഞ്ചാടി, 1/10 കഴഞ്ചി). പണപ്പലക a board to count fanams (Cochin). പണപ്രിയം = ദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹം. പണമാത്രം = പണത്തോളം as much as 1 fanam. പണമാല a necklace of gold fanams. പണമിട CS. = പണത്തൂക്കം. പണം പിടിക്ക to be prized, ഏററം പ'ച്ച തു ണി TR. പണവക cash.

parandụ No. (=പരുന്തു). A kite, Accipiter nisus, പണത്തിന്നു മീതേ പ. പറക്കയി ല്ല prov. (പരം): പരപക്ഷം S. the other party. പക്ഷം പ. വിചാരിച്ചു TR. biassed in favor of either party. പരപീഡ S. oppressing others. പരപുഷ്ടം = പരഭൃതം.

mālinyam S. = മലിനത. Dirty condition മാ. ചേര്‍ത്ത പത്രിക തുടെച്ചാല്‍ VyM.; also മനസ്സില്‍ മാലിന്യത കൊണ്ടിരുട്ടാം VyM. ചേ തോദര്‍പ്പണത്തിന്‍റെ മാ. AR.
