tuni (C.Te. bit = തുണി, T. sickness) 1. A kind of Gunma (see ഗുന്മം), തുനിഎന്നും പ്രതി തുനിഎന്നും Nid 13. 2. B. a kidney.

tvak S. (ത്വച ) Skin, as the organ of touch & feeling, ത്വഗിന്ദ്രിയം അലിയും സുത നെ പുല്കുന്നോരം; bark.

taḍi S. = തടം 1. A shore, bank. തടിനി S. a river II.

tūpụ (I. തൂക്കുക 2, see തൂവല്‍ 3). Leaved branches, strewed for manure over theopened roots of trees & for wet cultivation, തുപ്പിടുക; തൂ. പറിച്ചുടുത്തു TP. — (the 4 തൂപ്പു: മാവു, ഏ ച്ചില്‍ത്താളി, മരുതു & either ഞാറല്‍ or ഞള്ളു.)

tiṭṭu T. M. 1. A mound, shoal, (T. തിടല്‍ id. see തിണ്‍). 2. (Tdbh.; ദിഷ്ടം and use = തിട്ടതി). തിട്ടുവരുന്പോള്‍ Anj. in case of distress, similar തിടുക്കു. തിണ see തിണ്ണ.

VN. തുളക്കം 1. shaking ചൊല്ലിനവ ഒന്നിലും ഇല്ല തുളുക്കം (sic) എനക്കു RC. = ഇളക്കം. 2. splendour തുളക്കമററരക്കര്‍ എല്ലാം RC.; also തിളക്കം Ti. v. a.തുളക്കുക, ക്കി V1. to make bright, burnish.

tāra S. (സ്തര്‍) 1. A star. താരാപതി, താരേ ശന്‍ the moon. 2. T. M. (താരം 2) a large trumpet, ഊതും താര, താളം താരയും Pay. 3. Tdbh., ധാര, pouring on one കൊഴുപ്പനീരും പാലും കൂട്ടിത്താര ഇടുക a. med.; താരമുറിയാതേ Ti, incessantly, uninterruptedly, as showers, firing. 4. (ധാര?) marks or lines drawn on wood (നൂത ്താര; വണ്ടിത്താര Palg. wheel-ruts, വ. കാ ണ്മാന്‍ പോക after the തേരോട്ടം in Koḍumb/?/ is over) & ornamental incisions (= താറു 3).
