pūδam S. (പൂ to cleanse). Pure — പൂതനാ യുള്ളൊരു താതന്‍, പൂതരായുള്ള സോദരന്മാര്‍ CG. (= noble). പൂതണക്കു (പൂ). A Stereulia, Buch. or Gyrocarpus, or = ഭൂര്‍ജ്ജം.

poδuboδē B. An imitative sound (= പൊത്തനേ). പൊതുക്കുക, ക്കി 1. So. No. to smooth a mud-bank etc. by wetting & beating it gently തച്ചു പൊ. No. (or പുതുക്കുക?). 2. No പൊതുക്കിക്കെട്ടുക to tie loosely, lightly (= അഴെച്ചു).
