pōγaḍam Tdbh. of ഭോഗം + കടം (C. pogadi, tribute? or fr. പോക?). The rent or tribute due to the Janmi on the tenure of കുടുമനീര്‍, gen. called ദേശപോകടം (ജന്മ ഭോഗം ദേശപോകടം തുടങ്ങിയുളളവ VyM.) f. i. പത്തു തേങ്ങയും ഒരു ചക്കയും കുലയടക്കയും ദേശപോടകനു (പോഷകന്‍?) തട്ടും തയിരും ഇങ്ങനേ ദേശപോകടങ്ങള്‍ എന്നറിക KU.; നി ലം വാങ്ങി ൩ കൊല്ലമായി സ്വന്തമായി നടന്നു പോകടങ്ങള്‍ കൊടുത്തുവരിക, നികിതി പോ' ങ്ങളും കഴിപ്പാന്‍ MR.

pariša 5. Tdbh.; പരിഷല്‍. 1. An assembly, assemblage ഒരു പ. കാ൪യ്യംകൊണ്ട് ഇടവാട് ഉണ്ടായി TR. as about a lottery. 2. any set or class of people ഞാന്‍ എന്‍ പ. യും Anj. I & my caste-friends. ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ വ ലിയ പ. കള്‍, സാമന്തപ്പര്‍ഷ, കീഴ്പരിഷ etc. KU. 3. party നായരും മാപ്പിള്ളയും തമ്മില്‍ വെടിവെക്കാന്‍ ഭാവിച്ചാറേ ഞാന്‍ വന്നാറേ ൨ പരിഷയും സമാധാനമായി പാര്‍ത്തു TR.; ഇരു പ. വക്കലും MR.; ഇപ്പരിഷെക്കു Mud. to me, (speaking humbly). പരിഷക്കാര്‍ those of a set or party ഇരുപ'രേ കോളില്‍ ആള്‍ വളരേ ഉണ്ടു jud. (I. പരി): പരിഷത്തു S. (സദ്) sitting about, a solemn assembly.

puḷaγuγa = പുളയുക in കളകള പുള കിന സുരജാലം ChVr 8, 12. (or buzzing = പുലന്പുക). പുളകന്‍, see പുളവന്‍.

paδaruγa 5. (പത) 1. To be precipitate, overhasty പോവെന്നെഴുന്നു പതറിത്തിരി ഞ്ഞു RC. 2. aM. to be confused, defeated (in comparison) ഇടിയൊലി പതറുമാറേ, മുകി ലൊലി പതറുംചൊല്‍, ഓടുന്ന തെന്നല്‍ പതറും നടതകും തേര്‍ RC. quicker than wind, louder than thunder. 3. To regard, behold ഓര്‍ത്തവന്‍ ഓരാണ്ടു പാര്‍ത്തവന്‍ ൧൨ ആണ്ടു prov. ദിവ്യ ലോചനം കൊണ്ടു പാര്‍ത്തു Bhg. of Gods, kings. തൃക്കണ്‍ പാര്‍ത്തരുളേണമേ നീ Anj. നേരും നേ രുകേടും പാര്‍ത്തു കണ്ടു KU. investigated. പാ ര്‍ത്തോളം Bhg. = കണ്ടോളം the more you look or consider. — പാര്‍ത്താല്‍, പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ adv. well considered (an expletive, = നിരൂപിച്ചാല്‍), so പാര്‍ക്കുന്ന നേരം ഇതൊന്നേ നല്ലൂ CG. ഉണ്മയെ പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ ഏറും CG. more than reality warrants (= കാള്‍). നാടതു പാര്‍ത്താല്‍ ബഹുനായകം എ ന്നാകിലും Mud. indeed. 2. to wait for തക്കം പാ. Bhr. തക്കം നോക്കിപ്പാര്‍ത്തു കൊത്തിത്തി ന്നും PT. യുദ്ധത്തിന്നവസരം പാര്‍ത്തുപാര്‍ത്തു Mud. ഓരാതേ പാരാതേ Si Pu. inconsiderately. നി ന്നുടെ വരവു പാര്‍ത്തിരിക്കും Mud. വാവിനെപാ ര്‍ത്തുനിന്നാല്‍, ശരല്ക്കാലത്തിന്‍ വരവു പാര്‍ത്തിരി ക്കുന്നേന്‍ KR. അവനെ പാര്‍ത്തിരുന്നു Anj. ഭി ക്ഷുക്കളെ പേര്‍ത്തുപാര്‍ത്തു PT. കാലത്തെ പാര്‍ക്കാ തേ പോക വേണം CG. കാലം പാര്‍ത്തിരിക്ക to wait upon one (as king, God), to be in attendance. വഴിയെ പാ. to follow one closely everywhere. കടത്തിന്നു ആള്‍ വന്നു നമ്മുടെ വഴിയേ പാര്‍ത്തു മനസ്സു മുട്ടിച്ചു TR. dunned. 3. to stop, dwell ഒട്ടും പാര്‍ക്കാതേ TR. at once. മഴക്കാലം പാ TR. ships to winter. പാരാതേ അറിയേ ണം Bhr. without delay. എവിടേ പാര്‍ക്കുന്നു where does he live? പാര്‍പ്പവര്‍ aM. (to reveal one's own faults). പല്ലിറുമ്മുക So. to gnash the teeth. പല്ലിളിക്ക to grin, snarl പ'ച്ചു കാട്ടി CC., also പല്ലു കാട്ടുക.

(Tdbh. of പിത്തം) Madness പി. പിടിക്ക, കൊള്‍ക to go mad. പോയുംപിച്ചും പറക V2. to be delirious, so പി ച്ചുംപിഴയും or പിച്ചും ഭ്രാന്തും No., also to talk nonsense. പിച്ചല്ല Bhr. quite correct. കഴുകും പേയും പിച്ചേറിപ്പകുക്കും RC. furiously. പിച്ചന്‍ a mad man. പിച്ചുഭാവം weakness of intellect, dotage (senilitly). പിച്ചുസ്വരം an inarticulate sound.
