bhāvana S. (caus. of ഭു). 1. Effecting; power of representing to oneself, imagination. ഭാ. തന്നാലേ പുല്കി CG. not bodily, ഭാ. യാലേ വന്ദിച്ചു Bhr. inwardly. In Vēdānta ബ്രഹ്മഭാ. is the realization of the All One, അസംഭാ. its first enemy, the fancy of the difference of things, സംശയഭാ. want of implicit reliance on the Guru, വിപരീതഭാ. the thought of body, I, world, as if they were realities, etc. KeiN. ഭാ. കൊണ്ടു തന്നേ സര്‍വ്വവും ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു Bhg. 2. reflection, meditation മാമുനിമാര്‍ മൌലി യില്‍ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നു ഭാ. യാലേ ഈ പാദപരാഗം, കേവലയായൊരു ഭാ. തന്നിലേ മേവി നിന്നു CG. confined himself to one meditation. ഭാവി S. (ഭൂ) 1. future; fut. tense (gram.).— ഭാ. വാക്യം.prediction. 2. (ഭാവം) holding & expressing a sentiment പ്രിയഭാവിയായി രിക്ക VCh. — ഭാവിനി S. a fine woman. denV. ഭാവിക്ക 1. to represent, exhibit, show കേട്ടില്ല എന്നു ഭാവിച്ചു Bhr.; കേട്ടതു ഭാവി യാതേ PT.; ശോകരോഷാദികളെ ഭാവിച്ചു Mud. (felt or feigned). കെട്ടി ഞാന്നു ചാവ തിന്നായി ഭാ. Mud. act as if you hanged yourself!; so neg. കാണാതേ ഭാ. to feign to believe yourself unseen. — കലശല്ക്കു ഭാ. Roaming, confused. 2. mad; also N. pr. a Paradēvata ഭ്രാന്തജളബധിരാന്ധമൂകൈസ്സമം സഞ്ച രിച്ചു Bhg. walking with the mad, silly, blind, etc., the highest സന്ന്യാസം. ഭ്രാന്തി 1. S. whirling, error, madness കാമ ഭ്രാ. etc. ജലസ്ഥലഭ്രാ. Bhg. fancying there is water where none is to be found. 2. M. (loc.) a mad woman ഭ്രാന്തികള്‍ B. ഭ്രാന്തി ച്ചി (better ഭ്രാന്ത, ഭ്രാന്തമാര്‍). ഭ്രാന്തു Tdbh. delirium; madness. തന്നേത്താന്‍ മറക്കയും പിരാന്തു പറകയും MM. delirious, ഭ്രാ. പറയുന്നതു തീരും Tantr. ഭ്രാ. പിടിക്ക to go mad. ഭ്രാന്തുണ്ടിവര്‍ക്ക് എന്നു ചൊല്ലുവോര്‍ CG. പുത്രഭര്‍ത്താവെന്നുള്ളൊരു ഭ്രാന്തുകള്‍ KR. absurd notions. — Hence ഭ്രാന്താളി, ഭ്രാന്താ ളിത്വം (loc.) madness.
