Hence: കട്ടക്കാര a thorny plant. കട്ടക്കാണം 1. the right of breaking the ground = തൂശിക്കാണം, കൊഴു അവകാശം. 2. a tenure of ricefields unfavorable to the cultivator, hence called കഷ്ടക്കാണം. കട്ടക്കിടാവു newborn infant തന്‍ ക. മായി തുഷ്ട യായ്നിന്നാള്‍ CG. അരയന്നക്ക. പോലെ RS. (see ചോരക്കുഞ്ഞു). കട്ടക്കോല്‍ instrument for breaking the clods after sowing, consisting of the handle, വ ടി, and the block, കട്ടക്കുട്ടി, കട്ടോടം. കട്ടങ്ങം So. tie on the neck of oxen. കട്ടപ്പാര a wooden spade. കട്ടറ (കട്ടുകറ) rust, ക. പിടിക്ക to rust.

(ചി'ത്തീക്കൊത്ത ചൂടു intense heat; — കാണി ക്ക met. to energize). ചിരട്ടക്കരി B.; for begging അവന്‍ ൨ കൈയിലും നാലു ചി. പിടിച്ചു പോകും (curse); for drinking ചിരട്ടക്കള്ളെണ്ണി ക്കയറും TP. — മുട്ടിന്‍ ചിരട്ട the knee-pan. Fire; തീയില്‍പ്പാ യുക, as a Sati. തീയില്‍ മുളെച്ചതു വെയിലത്തു ചാകാ prov. തീയും തിരിയും ഇല്ല so poor! ആ രാന്‍റെ തീയും വെയിലും കൊണ്ടിട്ടു ദിവസം ക ഴിക്ക to work for any one. തീ എരിയു ക, കത്തുക, പിടിക്ക, കൊളുത്തുക, കൂട്ടുക, പൊലിയുക, കെടുക്ക etc. പാകത്തിന്നായിട്ടു തീക്കല്‍വെച്ചൊ രു പാല്‍ CG. put on the fire. ഇല്ലത്തിലിട്ടടെ ച്ചു തീ വെച്ചു Bhr. 2.
